It's going to be bigger & brighter than ever before and you're invited!
The Kentucky Bourbon Festival Inc. invites you to attend opening festivities of the 16th annual Kentucky Bourbon Festival at the Balloon Glow on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007 at the Nelson County Fairgrounds, US 31E in Bardstown.
Twenty balloons will light up the evening sky while you have the opportunity to walk right up to the balloon baskets and talk to the crews. This FREE family event will feature music from WQMF and for your convenience concessions will be available.
Weather permitting Kevin Harned will broadcast weather live on WAVE 3 News at 7 p.m. from the station's helicopter, AIR 3, and then land for festival participants to see the chopper up close.
Bring the family out for a fun-filled evening. The canopies will begin glowing around 7:30 p.m. and last until approximately 9 p.m.
