Need a suggestion or 2

by Bill Veneman » Fri Aug 31, 2007 2:51 pm

A friend of mine and I have both had not so hot of days today......when I pick him up from work around 9:15 or so (long story), we will probably want to indulge in a bit of sweet decidence and a good stiff drink. Any suggestions in the Oxmoor/St. Matthews area? I'm usually not one to prowl around looking for food at that hour, so suggestions are most welcomed!

Cheers!

later nite option

I know a lot hate it, but Cheesecake Factory serves that late, has a very good bar, and to go for a cheesecake (or - better yet - a slice of their fudge cake a la mode w/ chocolate ice cream) and a drink is a nice option.

Another option - a tad farther away, but not much - is Jack's Lounge, next door to Equus. WONDERFUL

Mine's a strong second for Jack's Lounge. They're open til midnight every night (except Sunday). Here's their menu:

California Pizza Kitchen at that hour can be pretty peaceful.
