Interesting read on One Flew South with Chef Duane Nutter

by Doug A » Tue Mar 29, 2011 3:26 pm

From a link off of CNN:

Not local, but a former local chef and an interesting read. Had no idea that airport restaurants had their knives chained to a table.

You have no idea how many knives are stolen in restaurants, as is other stuff. Obviously a chefs knife could be a serious weapon.

As I understand it, this restaurant is in the area past the TSA security. Therefore if one is stolen it could be taken on a plane without the person being rechecked. This is also done in jails for essentially the same reasons.
