More than a rumor, and discussed at some length on the forum, including a candid response from Chef Tony, in this topic. I don't know if anything has changed since then, but it hasn't been long.

We're pulling for 'em.

I also thought Linda moved back over to Sam's Tavern........

Strange, I can see their building from my window, and I don't see that dark cloud hanging over it.

Are you getting your info from your drivers at Universal Linen?

was just curious when the last time you were in the restaurant kurt & do these comments have anything to do with the fact that we cut back on our linen bill?

To all:
Found out that the rumor was full of half truths of a former employee that is disgruntled. I apologize to Tony and his team! I did have a bad experience but it could happen at any restaurant. Sometimes we make mistakes.

If Stratto's is for sale let's hope for another independent!

Nasty things Rumors-
I met a woman today at Kroger that had me closed up and out of business- She thought I was an arts and craft store.

Let's hope Stratto's lives long.

Oh yeah Will, Westport General was across the street from where you are now. I had an Apt there in '96 I think. Jean(first place on the left down the mountain) owned the building.

The Wiehes' had the restaurant there. Disputes were flying back and forth as a wind sheer blew the roof off the place.

I moved up the hill up the hill on the other side (Hidden Valley) and lived there as the new Westport General was built.

When completed, I moved into #1. I even rented what's now your meeting room for $50 bucks and moved the band I was in at the time, in for rehearsal space.

Saying good bye to Westport in late '99 I moved to Nashville.
The new restaurant downstairs had just closed before my move.

The craft place was in there at the old WG across the street.

That's where all that business you heard about at Kroger came from.
She should have talked to Nancy at the post office.LOL
