Wasabiya?

I was looking at the Groupon today for Wasabiya ($15 for $30). How is it for sushi? I saw a few posts on here about their sushi chef leaving or something. We love sushi and are always on the lookout for coupons. Please let me know. Thanks!

Wasibiya made me very angry in their early going (last year?) by serving me rank fish that was well past its pull date, something that I rate as the ultimate bad move for a sushi restaurant. I gave them a poor review and haven't been back. My reasoning is that anybody can have a bad night, but a management decision to put stinky fish into sushi betrays an attitude that scares me.

open and shut case. Allowing past due fish to make it to the table is very irresponsible and dangerous.

I really wanted this place to be good. It is real close to my place, I gave it two attempts and both times the service was terrible (forgot to put in our order once) and the food was mediocre. So many better sushi options in Louisville to go back here even though it a stone throw from my place

I have only been once but I had a great experience there.
