Mathematical holidays are few and far between, but this year Louisville joins the international celebration of Pi Day on Monday, March 14 (3.14)
Bicycling for Louisville will be Celebrating the Circular with a Pie Party at United Crescent Hill Ministries, at Frankfort & State St. The celebration will begin at 2pi pm (6:28 pm).
Admission is $5 for those who come with a sweet or savory pie to donate,
or $15 if you come without a pie. (Other circular food is also welcome)
Entrance includes 2 pieces of pie and 1 raffle ticket. Leftover pie and a pie from Homemade Ice Cream and Pie Kitchen will be raffled. Extra raffle tickets and extra slices of pie will be for sale and all money raised benefits Bicycling for Louisville.
Pie Party participants are of course encouraged to ride their Piecycle.
Bicycling for Louisville is our local bicycle advocacy organization, working to make our streets safer and our community more bicycle-friendly. We offer free bicycle safety programs and we do valet bike parking at Thunder and other community events. Find out more at www.bicyclingforlouisville.org
