Death of a restaurant spokesperson

by Andrew Mellman » Fri Mar 11, 2011 9:45 am

Last week the "spokesmodel" for the Heart Attack Grill (outside of Phoenix - check out http://www.heartattackgrill.com/Heart_A ... hcare.html) died of complications of pneumonia that were weight related (he was 29 years old, way over 6', and weighted 547 lbs).

The restaurant has a fun concept, with what looks like great burgers and lard-cooked fries, but wonder what this will do to business?

It probably wont make a dent in the business. I would think that most people already going there would not really care about health consequences. It's also a restaurant where your servers are primarily dressed as naughty nurses. It has it's own unique clientle.
