Bachelorette Venues?

by Peg O'Neill » Wed Mar 09, 2011 2:32 pm

So I'm looking at about 20-25 women and trying to think of restaurants that could accommodate such a large party. On a Saturday. For dinner. Next week. Don't want anything super upscale. Also don't want staff hating us for not turning over tables at their busiest time. Thoughts?

The Bristol Bardstown has large rooms upstairs and the menu is nice and varied for a crowd.

Thanks, I contacted them, as well as the Rover and Zeppelin. We may try La Rosita - I was concerned w/ transport as I'd want people to cab/carpool if drinking, but surely we can just go for dinner and then get much more festive after we come back over the river.

I've been to La Rosita's more than once with a large group of people. It will take forever to get your drink, food, and check. It's delicious, but it depends if you have other plans after dinner. It's been a couple of months so maybe they've improved.

We had my bachelorette party (about 20-25 ladies) dinner at Sol Aztecas on Frankfort Avenue and then, moved to Monkey Wrench before ending the evening at The Tavern for karaoke.

Palermo Viejo does a great job with large groups. We've had as many as 25 for various birthdays, and around 20 for a bachelor party dinner.

I went to a great party at August Moon. They have a nice room, great service and easy parking.

I must have accidentally bumped this thread by hitting "submit" in my drafts folder. We ended up having great food and great service at Baxter Station on their deck, which is always impressive with such a large party. We then made way to T.Eddie's, where they had a few bottles of J. Roget chilled and waiting for us. Sometime during the booze and karaoke, a truck hit another truck at the intersection outside, and the smaller of the two landed on top of (not into) my friend's car. Luckily she was able to drive out from under it with the help of a tow truck. Crazy night.

hi peg... thanks for choosing baxter station... glad you had a good time... hilarious about the car wreck..we were picking up our car at rye after the lady antebellum show... easier to cab it from there and not hassle with parking.. we were getting into my car when a truck went flying past eastbound on market and crashed right into a parked car....took the cops all of two minutes to get there. when i drove past... owner of the truck in cuffs on the tailgate... two totaled cars...
