Help me Kunz family..............

by JCundiff » Tue Aug 28, 2007 9:35 pm

I am a 42 yr old man who has grown up in Kentucky most of my life. My dad was a horse owner and we traveled to Louisville often as well as other track locations throughout the USA. I remember the 1st time I had the pleasure of eating at Kunz's with my father. I was about 12 years old. He ordered a needle glass of very expensive coqnac and we had the baby back rib appetizer. I thought it was sooo cool that they brought a little habatchi grill to the table to finish the ribs. I WAS HOOKED ON KUNZ'S BAR-B-QUE SAUCE FROM THAT MOMENT FORWARD!!! I have eaten it on just about everything short of desserts!! It is beyond the shadow of a doubt the best I have ever had or ever will. I was devisitated when I discovered to my shock it had ended...... Kunz's had closed their doors for good. How sad! How could this be possible?!!

I have heard that Fred Kunz frequents this board. Dear Sir I plead for you assistance.

How can I get your sauce?? Are you willing to share the recipe? How about the steak seasoning?

Please share your knowledge........

With sad sad taste buds in Lexington I humbly request your assistance.

Sincerely,
Jerry C.

Sonja......

It was a treat every time I was lucky enough to eat at Kunz's.

Perhaps..... someday........ again..............

the sun will shine upon me and I will be blessed again to be eating at Kunz's.

A true treat!

Every time !!!

Every time !!!!!

was a treat!

To be treated like someone special!!!

Every time I went that was the impression I was left with...... Like I was the only person in the place.

.................................. sad :(

JC, try sending Fred a private message or E-mail from the forum. Just find a message of his and click either the "PM" or the "E-mail" button. Chances are that he's just not following this topic.

Kingsleys has the Steak spice and the BBQ sauce

Kingsley's 2701 Taylorsville Rd. 502-459-7211 has the sauce in pints or gallons. I love this stuff!
