great article and well deserved credit. Leah did the cake for my wedding and it was spectacular. Everybody was impressed with the way it looked, but more importantly they loved the way it tasted. Sadly, there was almost none left-over as a result. :(

Very nice article, Leah. Wish you had been around for our wedding. I'll start thinking about a retirement cake.

Hey Ed, you can't retire before I do!!!

The big decision for me would be which cake would be bigger - the one for my work friends or the one for the the folks glad to see me finally go!!!

Congrats Leah - you deserve every bit of praise and recognition!!!

Although many here may think I have to say this because I am married to her daughter, but Leah really is a fantastic cake maker, mother-in-law and BFF. However, I am actually just saying it because I know she does her Christmas shopping WAY early.......

I put vegetables in your desserts, white chocolate with your fish and other nonsense stuff that you think shouldn't make sense, but coax the nonsense into something that makes complete sense in your mouth. Just open your mind, mouth and eat.

Congratulations, Leah! Well deserved!

Leah did our wedding cake last year, and not only was it beautiful, and just what we wanted, but we got so many compliments on how good it was! She based the design on my dress, and I was so pleased! Here's a picture:

Congratulations, Leah!

I pointed out the article to my wife (the recipient of one of your cakes). She echoed Ron's and Kim H's remarks. Our guests and we commented that it was a beautiful cake and it tasted so good! It wasn't a wedding cake, though - you were probably in diapers when we got married.
