Gift certificate clearance!!!

by NDDuncan » Tue Feb 22, 2011 8:49 pm

Hello everybody - Dining with Steve! is no more :( (at least in Louisville)

We're clearing out the inventory before we disconnect the Louisville page - some great deals at only $12 each!!! These are all $30 certs. I'm posting this on my facebook page too - 1st come, 1st served!
This is what we have:

Blue Lagoon - 3
Maker's Mark - 40
Queen of Sheba - 23
Sol Azteca - 11

enjoy :)

Hopefully I'll be able to work with some my old customers (restaurants) in my new job - fundraising for local schools...

When I printed mine, I got 3, $10 certificates. Is that right? I was expecting 1, $30 certificate.

It's the Groupon/Living Social thing - people think we charged too much (100 certs for 10 weeks of TV advertising) but jump at the chance to give up 500 - 2500 certs for one day of internet advertising - go figure! :? The market is saturated...we're done...

But on a better note - I really like fundraising, especially when it comes to local schools, and this program keeps the kiddies from having to go door-to-door and mom & dad don't have to hit up friends and family to buy candy bars/wrapping paper/frozen foods they don't need at premium prices. Plus, the schools makes 60-70% and the area businesses get free advertising - win-win!!

Leah - it depends on the restaurant - if you go for lunch, just use one of them. This way you're not limited to spending all $30 at once (unless you choose).
