Yep! I hope it's not too stuffy.

Kind of my thoughts. Anybody have any insight on the atmosphere of the place?

It's not stuffy at all.

The setting is a converted carriage house, brick floors, dark tables, no tablecloths generally. Lovely, simple white china, Riedel crystal glassware I believe, as befits an upscale wine service. It's the food that's the star.

And no table turns. Your table is yours for the evening.

Leah is right. Not stuffy at all.... My husband and I have been frequenting 610's since early in our marriage...(that's over 25 years folks).. We go back to the days of Ed Garber... Chef Edward Lee has done a great job of maintaining the original integrity of the restaurant while also incorporating his styles.

Very laid back atmosphere, in my opinion.

I reviewed it in December. All in all, I consider it one of the top five restaurants in town, and it can be No. 1 on any given day.

The atmosphere is second to none - nothing else like it. And I wouldn't even think of calling it stuffy.

Really strange, my Groupon for today was for exterior home cleaning? Do they have different ones for different zip codes?

Mark,
Mine was for exterior cleaning also. Saw it on Leah's link. Maybe it is by zip code--we live fairly close.

Me either, but I should asterisk that: It's ... upscale. When we were last there, there was a large party of folks celebrating a birthday, with a lot of drinking, loud talk and noisy laughter, jumping up and posing and taking flash pictures and having a wonderful time. They weren't intentionally obnoxious, but their revelry wasn't really making the scene relaxing for the rest of the people there, and I think if they hadn't been oblivious they might have noticed people glancing over at them with pitying, "They really don't know any better" looks. What I just described seems like a situation that some people might consider "stuffy," but we didn't.

There is more then 1 per day and I think they email the one closest to your zip code or by your profile.

$10 for $20 Worth of Gourmet Popcorn at Mrs. Rogers’ Popcorn and Sweet Shoppe

$75 for $175 Worth of Exterior Housecleaning Services from Green Goose Roof & Exterior Cleaning

My main Groupon email was for the roof cleaning but it had a link to the restaurant discount. Unfortunately, that said that it was sold out just before 10:00 this morning. Their limit was 300.
