The Bountiful Bread Bakery and Cafe

Anybody heard of them?

From Business First:
JPS Restaurant Services Inc. of Louisville signed a lease for The Bountiful Bread Bakery and Cafe, an upscale bakery with made-from-scratch home-made foods and old world artisan bread, as well as a selection of wines and sweet baked goods.

Westport Village is the first franchised location of Bountiful Bread, which plans to open there in November. JPS Restaurant Services has plans for 14 additional sites across Louisville and Southern Indiana during the next seven years.

Ed Pinzner (sp?) of ed's bread fame is opening the bread place. He is a great guy, who makes great bread.

Oh yummy! I wonder if he will make the blueberry cinnamon roll bread he used to make when he had that tiny spot on Bardstown Rd!

Right now they are selling bread at the Beargrass Farmer's Market. I had the cinnamon sourdough and it was great.

I can hardly wait for them to get done with the construction and get everything moved in and open......

Where are they at the Market? I have seen people walking around with these nicely wrapped baguettes, and I crane my neck but I never see anything?

MmM...He had the BEST bread! My best friend's grandmother used to sell his bread at her antiques booth out at the Shelby County flea market. My favorite by far was the pepperoni bread. Yum. I'm drooling just thinking about it.

What was the pepperoni bread like, Michelle? I'm from WV, and grew up eating pepperoni rolls. I thought all the world ate pepperoni rolls until I left the state, and discovered that no one knew what I was talking about. Just curuios if his pepperoni bread is similar...

It had the pepperoni, cheese, and some spices rolled up in it...it was unbelievably good.
