Restaurant Closing and New Opening

The OurBest Restaurants in Louisville and Indiana Have been closed. The Smithfield location is still open and will remain so.
Also there is a new restaurant getting ready to open in LaGrange in the old Son of a Sailor building called Colorado Mike's. I did a little searching and found out there is another location in West Virginia. They sell different kinds of smoked meat. I found their website. www.coloradomikes.com. There you can see their menu. Sounds like a BBQ place. They are planning on opening in March according to the landlord. Just FYI

Well "Mom's" sure didn't last long in that location did they ? Can't say I'm surprised...I ate there twice, the second time just to make sure it really WAS as bad as I thought after the first visit...It was.

I can honestly say I wouldn't have gone back even if they would have made it. Good luck to the new proprietors.

Wow. I wonder what happened to Mom's? Maybe they didn't make the transition to a bigger space? Didn't bring their previous clientele to the new location?

By looking at the menu for Colorado Mike's I don't see where it looks very exciting. They basically only have ribs, chicken and pizza? Kind of a strange combination to say the least. Hopefully it will be good but I would certainly like a larger variety of smoked items.
