Many thanks to Robin for giving his blessing and allowing me to post this.
To my Louisville Hotbytes Family:
I am raising funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) as a participant in their Team In Training program and I'm asking you to help.
With the help of Barry and Michael at BoomBozz Taphouse, we’ve created a Fund-Day where 20% of your net check will go to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I thought this would also be a great way to meet some of my fellow forumites. Anyone interested in making this an offline event? Or how about just coming by to say “hi” to me, as I’ll likely post up at the Taphouse all day on March 1st.
If you can’t make it in but you want to contribute, you can donate online quickly and securely (
http://pages.teamintraining.org/ky/sdderby11/sgreenlaw), plus learn more about my progress. You will receive a confirmation of your donation by email and I will be notified as soon as you make your donation.
Each donation helps accelerate finding a cure for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. More than 823,000 Americans are battling these blood cancers. I am hoping that my participation in Team In Training will help bring them hope and support.
If you aren't able to help me financially, don't hesitate to send me moral support as I train for KY Derby miniMarathon (13.1 miles) and the San Diego Marathon. Running tips, eating tips and fundraising ideas are all welcome.
Finally, feel free to friend me on facebook (Sherrie Robertson Greenlaw) or send me a request to follow me on twitter (
http://twitter.com/lawofthegreen) for more updates on my training progress.
Thank you all for your support.
