Heading East: Seviche, A Latin Restaurant on Goose Creek Rd

I know this was announced on here a few weeks back but after seeing the sign go up this week and now the today’s article in Business First, I had to bring it back up. Link to Article

I was so excited to see the sign go up the other day. Seviche is quite possibly my favorite restaurant in Louisville and now it sits only steps away from my front door.

When I reluctantly moved out of the Highlands to the burbs 6 years ago there was virtually no where, creative, to eat. Now we finally have choices...and really good ones. To try and name them all would do someone a disservice because I am certain to forget one. Either way, I want to thank all of you for taking the chance. I wish each and every one of you success.

Thank you Anthony for bringing even more flavor to the east end. My wife and I are sure to become regulars. Now that I've read today's article, I will definitely be in 2-3 times a week........happy hour at the seviche bar, I can't wait! Do you have an anticipated open date?

Anthony,

The buildiing is looking better already: I drove past today and the plywood was up on the exterior (I assume for the stucco to adher to). That was always the ugliest exterior, and now you can see that it's actual a nice building.

Thanks for improving the "neighborhood". I will admit I'm also hoping your, Dean and Fernando's jumps into the East End will help other chefs see the opportunities in being on the East End.

As an east ender who dines at Seviche at least 5 times a year(which is not easy when babysitters are neccessary) I am so happy to see the new location is practically walking distance from my neighborhood (Broeck Pointe). I am also delighted that the exterior is getting a well deserved make over. My husband and I are very excited and look forward to dining and getting take out at the new location.
