My bf (a restaurant manager here in town) can't always get off on weekends, especially holidays, but he IS going to be off tomorrow. I want to go out. In thinking of trying (if I can get anyone to answer the phone today since I never could get anyone to yesterday) make reservations if possible at Mojito's. What other recommendations do you guys have? He's from California, only been here 8 months, and has only been out in Louisville to places I've taken him.

I'm 99% sure Mojito's doesn't take reservations.

Maybe a downtown restaurant hop.

I recommend the late or early dinner options on busy weekends like this one. Either get there before 6 or after 8 and you'll avoid the worst of the crowds.

I finally got someone on the phone. Said they do call ahead seating, but not reservations. I'll give them a call when we leave Etown.
I'm excited to go out tomorrow night. It will be our first Valentine's together. I'm loving it!

Ok....so we did the call ahead 30 minutes prior to getting there. When we got there at 6:30 the place was PACKED! There were probably 25-30 people waiting around the bar area. We gave our name, and got taken to our table within three minutes! Amazing!!!1

Food was wonderful. We had alittle of everything....cheese, the duck flatbread, sweet potatoe fries, tuna, lamb chops, dates, spare ribs, garlic shrimp, and even a pitcher of sangria. LOVELY time. The food flowed beautifully. We never filled our own glasses! Of course, we had dessert too (3 chocolates and the churros).
