On deadline here ... What's the name of the historic building that Treet's is in?

Extra credit: What's the name of the historic building that Speakeasy is in?

Treet's Bakery is in a building that was originally called the "Wilcox Block". It has been a number of things sonce the 1800's including Lewis Furniture, a butcher shop, and a clothing store etc. I'm still working on Speakeasy but if you like, you can get all of the information on any building by calling David Barksdale (NA historic preservation society chairman) (502) 751-9686 (do I still get the extra credit?)

Thanks, Dave! From another source (old forum posts), I came up with the name "Bergmans" for the building. Wrong?

The Bergmans are the current owners who have rehabilitated it (Matt and Jessica). They live on the 2nd and 3rd floors and I might add that they did an absolutely wonderful job with the restoration. Still working on Speakeasy for you but I have to say that of all the buildings down here, that has got to be my favorite. Those big green doors are spectacular!!
