BUCK’S RESTAURANT TO HOST CAJUN AND CREOLE DINNER
Buck’s Restaurant plans a Cajun and Creole dinner Thursday, February 24. “
Buck’s executive chef Andrew Welenken plans these featured dishes:
Crab and crawfish cake over red beans and rice risotto with a chipotle sauce
Blackened Brie with blueberry compote and spiced almonds on baby greens, with lardons and a remoulade dressing
Choice of:
Bouillabaisse
Shrimp, scallops, mussels, clams, and cod with rouille in a saffron tomato broth over jasmine rice and croutons
OR
Pork gumbo
Three-pork gumbo with smoked sausage, andouille sausage and pork confit over jasmine rice
Bananas Foster crépes and pecan ice cream
Each course will be paired with a specially selected wine.
