Iranian Grocery/Halal Butcher on Westport

by Eliza W » Sat Feb 05, 2011 2:53 pm

On the way to Incredible Dave's (oh, the joys of elementary school birthday parties), I spotted a sign in the same shopping center as La Rosita. Could be interesting, but I don't know any more facts.

The sign has been up for awhile...but I notice activity on a regular basis.

Is it open or not? That area makes sense considering there is a Mega Mosque going up down the street

No not open yet, paper still in the windows. By activity, I meant there are plumbing vans, contractors etc.. parked outside during regular business hours.

I did notice a small sign by the road, "DZ Market."

And, yes...that's going to be a MEGA mosque.

Adar Market is open. They have a roadside sign advertising "Halal Meat and Gyros." Today, I had already eaten, or I would have stopped. Perhaps tomorrow.
