NBC’s Guy Fieri to Host Marriott Oaks Bourbon Brunch
Event to Benefit: Kosair Children’s Hospital

NBC’s Minute to Win It host and celebrity chef Guy Fieri will return to host the third annual Marriott Oaks Bourbon Brunch at the Louisville Marriott Downtown. Proceeds from the event and auction donations will benefit Kosair Children’s Hospital through the Children’s Hospital Foundation.

John Ramsey, host of WAVE-TV’s 725 South Floyd, will emcee the event, a multi-course brunch with Bourbon-infused food prepared by Fieri.

“Guy auctions off everything from the utensils he uses to mix in the bourbon to the stovetop on which he cooks and even the sunglasses he wears,” Marriott General Manager Michael Howerton said. “It’s a morning filled with creative food, culinary art and extraordinary improv-style entertainment.”

Guy Fieri hosts several popular TV shows on the Food Network, including Guy’s Big Bite; Ultimate Recipe Showdown; and Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. He also is host of NBC’s Minute to Win It game show where contestants vie for life-changing cash prizes.

The Marriott Oaks Bourbon Brunch will be Friday, May 6, beginning at 8 a.m. at the Louisville Marriott Downtown, 280 W. Jefferson St. The event concludes at 10:30 a.m., so guests can arrive at the track by post time for the first Oaks Day race. Tickets are $150 a person or $1500 for a table. Corporate sponsorships are available. The event has sold out for the last two years. To reserve a seat, call 629-8060 or visit HelpKosairChildrensHospital.com.
