Kim,

Pizza and Beer Samples are unlimited, unless you look visibly intoxicated. Then of course we have to deny you beer service, but that is for the good of everyone involved. Beings that they are 2-3 oz samples, you would have to do a lot of sampling to get in that situation. They are also offering $3 pints if you find something you like in particular.

Sorry, I didn't get to this in time.

Richard, if you still need tickets Wednesday, let me know. I still have some, and I'll be at work most of the day before decamping for the fest.

I can say this was a great time. The beer was delicious and the pizza was great although it was a bit harder to come by. I was pleasantly surprised by the turnout as I didn't expect it be as well attended as it was. Thanks for hosting it!

Thanks to everyone who attended last night's event. We had a blast. Great beer, and an unexpected unplugged version of Kentucky Fried Pickin and Whistin Ruffus.

Beer and Pizza, does it get any better than this?[/i]

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza. D Barry

We were very pleased with the turnout and the vibe, with special props to Trevor, who made a good decision under stressful circumstances and pulled the bands back outside after neighbor complaints during the approval process initially led to an unworkable compromise. Trevor did the right thing, pleased the attendees, and rightly so.

Tony's loaded potato skin pizza rocked. I also liked the beer cheese pie.

I don't vote for my own, so to me the top beer picks were Browning's She Devil IPA and BBC (Main and Clay) Oktoberfest. Barley Island's Dirty Helen Brown also was good, and Matt Gould (Cumberland) doesn't make bad beer.

Kudos to someone for paying off the Gods and getting a lovely late summer/early autumn evening.

Good job, all. Trevor, don't forget: I owe you some money.

Roger,

You know with my track record of outdoor beer festivals.... I didn't pay any gods off. Every time I have tried that, the rain gods have not been pleased with my tribute and have paid me back in multitudes of rain, wind, thunder, and lightning. Whoever did the payoff for the good weather, let me know your secret.
