East Coast, West Coast, No Coast Beer Fest

Several of you have been asking about the East Coast, West Coast, No Coast Specialty Beer Festival at Flanagan's Ale House and I finally have some preliminary info for you! The date is Sunday, Febuary 20th, beginning at 1:00 pm and going as long and you guys can take it! As for the format, beers will be sold individually, and due to the high gravity nature of most of the brews, they will be served in aprox 8 oz portions. There will not be a cover to get in, but we will have a donation box set up at the front door for Henry's Ark, the same non-profit we donated to last year. 2008 Old Ale aged one year in a Brady Barrel, and another year in a Bourbon Barrel.

2010 Hell for Certain aged in a Bourbon Barrel.

None of these beers have ever been tasted before, so I look forward to being the first!

We are also hosting the 2010 World Wide Beer Tour VIP party for those who finished their 150 beer card from 4-7. So, if you finished your card, come join us!

Since I have to help my folks move I couldn't hang around for the extra thing in the back at flanagan's, but I got to try most of the ones I wanted to, and they were all pretty tasty in their own way. Boulder stout, ommegang adoration, ard ri, lucky bastard, and my favorite, the quad aged bourbon barrel ale.
