Boombozz NY-style pizza FREE to first 75 on Feb. 1

Boombozz Famous Pizza to Give Away 75 New York Style Pizzas!

The Highlands, Westport Village and Frankfort Avenue locations will be offering them.

Nearly a year after a pizza modeled on the great pie of the Big Apple was offered as a limited time special, the giant 17-inch masterpiece returns as a permanent menu item beginning February 1st. Boombozz is giving away a total of 75 New York Style pizzas at select Boombozz locations on February 1. "We get requests for it every day. In our stores, on our Facebook and Twitter pages…it’s crazy!" said Tony Palombino, Founder/CEO of the BoomBozz Famous Pizza concept. “We tested the New York Style pizza at the Highlands store, and the results were through the roof!”

The creation, is a 17-inch pizza that is hand-crafted with a signature New York style sauce, hand- tossed dough and cut into foldable slices. The pie includes a blend of Shredded mozzarella and grated Romano Cheese. It is then drizzled with extra-virgin olive oil and garnished with Oregano and Fresh Basil. Customers can also add one of Boombozz famous toppings like House-made Italian Sausage and thick cut Pepperoni.

"We are deeply committed to providing consumers with other alternatives,” said Palombino, "Our top priority is to continually improve all our products, and the re-introduction of the new, New York Style pizza is keeping with in this goal."

To take advantage of the offer, arrive at any participating Boombozz location on February 1st and say the words “I love New York” to your host or server. You will receive one 17 inch New York style cheese pizza for free. Offer valid for dine-in and carryout only. One free pizza per person, per table.

Ed, I'm not sure. What I printed is what I got from Tony P. He hovers around the forum, so maybe he'll jump in with an explanation. I didn't realize that they had discontinued that style.

Yes, they do. And I can see their point in declining to deliver a free pizza to the first 75 who phone in. :)

Thanks Robin for posting. The New York Style is the Brooklyn that was offered for a limited time and was such a big hit that we decided to make it a permanent menu item categorized as New York Style, 17 inch cheese for 13.99, 1.99 each for toppings.

In regards to Delivery the Highlands and Frankfort Avenue locations offer delivery.

I am going to mark this one down...I love watching the Steelers games at the one on Eastern Parkway. They have great prices on brews, outstanding appetizers, and their pies are some of the best in town. Thanks for the heads up!

I tweaked the original post in the thread to make that more immediately clear.

Is this 75 pizzas total or per store? Some locations do lunch and I would figure they would eat up the 75 pies in a hurry.

When does the Village location open?

I can't find hours on the Website, but this language from the full news release online indicates that it's a total of 75 pizzas across the three locations.

Boombozz is giving away a total of 75 New York Style pizzas at select Boombozz locations on February 1st.

I know Tony P is on this forum, so I post this criticism knowing and hoping he sees it.

So here it is:

I'd be more excited about Boombozz's events if the details were made clear. Not worth my time reading between the lines trying to figure out what I need to know. All I need to know is this - who, what, when, where, and how? But PR tends to overlook that these days, instead giving me, to quote Faulkner, "sound and fury, signifying nothing."
Thinks the frosty mug is the low point in American history.
