Has anyone tried this? I saw a clip on WAVE-3 news the other night - had never heard of it!! It certainly looks tasty!!

(I would insert the pic but not sure how!)

I'm 95% sure I sampled this at Sam's this past week. It was around $18 for the cake-- it was very moist and had a distinct bourbon taste. Very tasty! :D

"It's the Kentucky Woods Bourbon Barrel Cake Louisville businessman Adam Burckle had planned to test it out at local stores and online, but Burckle says in 27 years in business, he's never been so surprised to have so many requests for one product from around the country and the world."

read the whole news story: http://www.wave3.com/story/13841810/sal ... urbon-cake

I wonder how soon we'll see this served at restaurants here? soon, I hope! :)

Tasted it sometime through the holidays at a family gathering. It was good but not memorable. Reminded me of rum cake made with bourbon if that makes any sense.
