Aiming at a spot on an upcoming Travel Channel television show, Louisville based BoomBozz Famous Pizza is turning to its Facebook fans to help make the cut.
“Louisville is obviously a great food town,” said Tony Palombino, CEO of BoomBozz restaurants. “The people who eat in our restaurants all have different reasons why they love BoomBozz. All we need is for them to hit the record button on their Flip cameras, put it in words as creatively as they can, and upload it to our Facebook page.” (That’s http://www.facebook.com/pages/BoomBozz/9915685865 ) The winning entry will also receive a $500 cash prize.
Palombino and his internal committee will sift through submissions to pick who they think tells the best story, then submit the video, as requested by the Travel Channel producers.
“I have no idea what program this might end up on but the Travel Channel has such a great history of food programs with Anthony Bourdain, Adam Richman, and others that we are excited for the opportunity to be featured,” said Palombino. “We really like that not only will we be featured, but one of our fans gets to come along with us”.
