Good news as far as I'm concerned. Whether she did the alleged deed or not, I think it's pretty safe to assume that she is neither a danger to society nor a likely repeat offender.

I'm not sure what your point is, Matthew, but it is my personal opinion - and only an opinion - that only a fraction of the people we're keeping in jail, at great fiscal and social expense, really need to be there. It happens we know Susan and know something about this case, but I imagine that if I knew their stories, I'd say the same about a majority of people in the hoosegow.
