There is a small coming soon sign at the old BoomBozz location on Frankfort for Bluegrass Burger. Does anyone have any information on the concept?

I heard that Christopher from North End is behind this, but I am not positive about that...

It is Christopher from North End as well as a few other investors. The concept is going to be gourmet burgers with a topping bar. They have remodeled the interior and added some seating. This is going to be a great addition to the neighborhood!

WW Cousins-ish or gourmet as in bison burgers with artisan gouda cheese, freshly grated horseradish, sweet Vidalia onion relish, and cracked-pepper bacon on a Blue Dog baguette roll and a side of Belgian fries with garlic mayonnaise?

A friend and I ate burgers at BBC last evening, and they were so good! Garlic fries wee a different cut, but still excellent (even more so actually!)

Sounds like a definite welcome addition to the neighborhood, can't wait for them to open. Thanks for the info.

Sorry but, they are unable to opening today. It was discovered that there is a Natural Gas problem...or lack there of. If we turn the gas on we suck the gas out of the rest of the center. So, our friends at LG&E are having to run a new supply line. Just thought you might want the details.

? I thought that building was freestanding. Am I thinking about the wrong place or if there actually some connected buildings behind it?

"They," or "we"? Do you have a piece of this action, Scott? It's perfectly okay if you do, but if you do, I'd appreciate it if you'd disclose that if you talk about the business.

Robin,

No not at all. The owners are just friends. I am involved in the Design and Equipment. This restaurant is two block from my home and I am just looking forward to the opening like everyone else!

No problem, Scott, and thanks for the reply. You said "We" and that got my attention. I'm eager to get there, too ... it's not that far from us, and right on a route that our car runs regularly.

Robin, I tend to take "ownership" of every restaurant I get involved with...I guess it's an occupational hazard.

Thanks for the update, Scott. Was this never a problem for the building when Tony BoomBozz occupied it?
