Lord help me, this actually sounds good ...

Burger King has introduced its first stuffed hamburger, the BK Stuffed Steakhouse Burger, which is filled with bits of jalapeño pepper and cheddar cheese.

The new burger, priced at a recommended $3.99, is topped with a creamy poblano sauce, tomatoes and lettuce and served on a premium bun. It's available at participating restaurants nationwide through mid-February.

Robin, I admit it sounds good to me too!!!! Hey Matt, have you seen this? Might be good for the trailer. Even a variation of some sort, could improve it. Think about the "additives" you could use to "step on it", and cut your food cost, and keep all the juices intact!!! Kind of like a meatloaf sandwich, ehh. You go BK

I am the original Mike G, never mind the impostor.

I am kind of a big deal.

I had one of these last night. The burger was overcooked and the bun was slightly stale. If it had been fresh and juicy, I might have liked it. As it stands... I don't have enough thumbs to turn down.

Last summer I bought a box of the cheddar/bacon stuffed burgers from Sam's and they were quite good! We liked them so much, they're now a staple for our camping trips! Seriously - they look just like these burgers except w/ bacon intead of jalapeno

Hey Matt, I bet with some creamy pablano sauce (or some of the aji like the kind from Mr. Pollo!!!) these would be even BETTER than the BK burgers!!

Pass...I'll stick with the "Whopper, Jr." if I need a BK fix.
Am I the only one who misses "Burger Chef"? I recall their burgers were charbroiled over an open flame - delicious.

I remember the Burger Chef on Shelbyville Road, accross from the Mall. Pretty good stuff. My recollection is they beat McD's on all sandwiches, but decisively lost the french fry battle. I have a friend who's father was a BC franchisee in the Northern Kentucky area. He worked there as a teen, ate that stuff all the time, and STILL misses it!
My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

I remember Burger Chef too - good stuff! I also remember a place called Henry's or Henri's (can't remember if it was with an i or y) - they had really good burgers.

I remember BQ (and "Queenie Bee")...seems I heard there were a few Druthers locations that are still operating in KY (??)

Memory fails, but wasn't there some connection between BQ and Druthers? Druthers succeeded BQ or something? Also, didn't the corporate chief, George somebody, run for mayor as a Republican? Against Harvey Sloane, maybe?

Druthers evolved from BQ (although most of the change was cosmetic); since their menu included fried chicken, a salad bar, etc., this was viewed as an attempt to distance themselves from the perception of being just another burger QSR. Many of the Druthers locations were later acquired by Dairy Queen, although one or two may still be operating in KY as Druthers.

My memory is less certain about their CEO becoming involved in local politics.
