It could be Long Shot Tavern. I heard somewhere that they may be for sale.

Hmm, instinctively, that was my first guess. I guess because they call themselves a Tavern, but so does Dark Star. And both have changed hands in the last decade, right? Haven't been to either in a while cause I'm all old old and crotchety like that. And stuck on Highlands Island. You wanna open NABC South, Dave?

Those came to mind. No Southern plans...curious. I think we all have a friend that says "if I could find the right place..."

Pretty sure it is Long Shot. It has been owned by the same guy for over twenty years, I think.

A fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it's better to be thoroughly sure.

I could have sworn I heard a few yrs ago that there were new owners, but I have nothing other than an intoxicated recollection to base that on. Color me stupid if it's so.

I hit 1000 on the ProBrewer forum last spring, the first to do it. I retired my screen name and took up some anonymity. A few of the regulars know my secret identity. Good luck!

Thank you, DAVE!, for helping me bring it home. I'd also like to thank our moderator, Mr. Garr, for providing the pulpit for my verbal excretions. And above all, I thank the community as a whole for inspiration. Amen.

Now let's open The Friggin Frankfort Ave. Tavern, please.
