Locatelli Romano

by Phil Gissen » Mon Jan 10, 2011 6:28 pm

Dear Hotbytes Folks,
Other then "Pauls", "Dolls", and "Creation Gardens", are there any other places in town to purchase such items as excellent olive oil, balsamic vinegar, etc. I was looking for Locatelli Romano cheese and couldn't find it. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks.

Lotsa Pasta might be your first choice for everything on that list, Phil. I just picked up a couple of cheeses there today.

Really? Good luck getting there from Prospect in the snow!! Told you to move to St Matthews! (Hi Phil, we sat with you and your wife at the wine dinner at Seviche. Great to have you back!)

Hey Louisvillians! This is not a real snowfall! I can't believe things shut down here with 3 to 4 inches of white stuff. In Wisconsin, you have to have at least double digits, howling wind, and wind chills of 10 to 50 below zero. You guys are going to make me soft! I want to be Joe Pesci!

Right there with you Phil! I was born and raised here, and I still have NO idea why everyone freaks like this about a little snow. Ice is another story - but snow??

Oh yeah? You don't have a 16 year old sitting on the couch watching Family Guy and asking me to make Eggs Benedict.
