Kitchen Rental Request

by Van Campbell » Sat Jan 08, 2011 7:29 pm

My wife is looking for a commercial kitchen space to rent for 2-3 days a week, she is willing to work off-peak hours and is very flexible with the her time. Does anyone have any leads? She has been looking into churches but has had no luck, and sadly FB3 is no longer around... Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know but if too many more ask someone should put 5 commercial prep kitchens in a warehouse and rent them out 8)

How much would someone be willing to pay for this?
I've done a little research and it looks like the going rate for such a service is $25-20 an hour.

I saw another quote where they charged for the application fee and dry and refrigerated storage space as well.

Also, would the rental include use of smallwares(pots, pans, sheet trays, utensils, etc.) or just the use of major equipment (stoves, ovens, fryers, mixers, etc.),or would an extra charge for these seem reasonable? If it were my kitchen, there would also be a hefty clean up fee if the person renting out the space didn't clean up after themselves to a set standard. Trust me, everyone has their own definition of what clean is.

I think I might have an idea if the demand is that great for such a thing.
