The BBC crew is going to attempt a visit. I hope you are laying-in the Epic beers for a verticle tasting in 2012.

I have 02 through 07 -- missed 01, as it wasn't being distributed here then.

E-bay, here we come.

I'll try to keep him around as long as possible. Doses of Hoptimus might do the trick ...

It's outside of San Diego -- I want to say Escondido, but I haven't ever been to San Diego to learn its geography.

You certainly can get it, from Cavalier Indy (1/2 barrels only, twice monthly deliveries).

Damn, my grandparents used to live in Bonsall which is a stones-throw from Escondido and we used to stop there for tacos on the way when I was a wee lad (Miramar A.F.B. is just south of there....Top Gun Baby!!) It's North/East of San Diego. Didn't know they were doing any cool brewing in that part of the state but it's nice to see. I'll get with you and Cavalier about getting some in. Thanks! (also thinking real hard about that German thang.......maybe early in the first week??)

I think the German dinner could go two ways, traditional or "extreme," and I'm torn as to which I prefer, but on balance I think it might be fun to do traditional and cut back the beer offerings to four or five (and let attendees have bigger portions to more accurately replicate the authentic German experience).

It might be an excellent segue into Harvest Homecoming.

Roger, hi -

Can you give us an idea of what "specially priced 10 oz portions" would cost? We're hoping to be there, but the Fair is this week, etc....so, I'm just trying to budget our weekly entertainment fundage!

I'm thinking a straight $2 incl. tax for 10oz, and we also might have sampler trays IF the logistics are capable of being managed.

If only twelve people show up, I guarantee we'll have a marvelous time ...

We are coming, too (two of us) - need we make reservations?

Also.....any idea how much a cab ride back to the Highlands will cost? We want to taste every beer. We'll probably catch a bus over there and a cab back - unless some other forumites are bringing a designated driver and want to share a ride back....... 8)

It's been a long time since I took a cab that distance, but then it was in the $35 range.
