World BBQ and music fest in downtown NA this Saturday.

by Roger A. Baylor » Thu Aug 16, 2007 9:08 pm

Some of the people involved with the revitalization effort in downtown New Albany and the Develop New Albany group (of which I'm a board member) have organized a modest fest this coming Saturday (18th). I'd have mentioned it sooner, but it's just on of those things. The idea is that there'll be entertainment along the river at the ampitheater, with food and drink at four of the downtown eateries: Federal Hill, Bistro New Albany, Connor's Place & Speakeasy, with NABC beer on tap at the latter three.

More information here, and thanks to Robin for the go-ahead:

Coming to downtown this Saturday (August 18th): Worlds of Flavor Bar-B-Q and Music Festival.

Bistro New Albany will be serving a Cuban style roasted pork for this event that is IMHO Bad-Ass! We also will be having live music on the patio and if it is not 1 million degrees outside, it should be a groovy time for all!!

Dave, your Cuban pork was outstanding and did fine service as accompaniment to Croupier. We had a marvelous evening.
