So last night I had my official birthday dinner and chose to finally give Corbett's a try. I've had their lunch a couple of times, which I enjoyed, but it was not until last night that I experienced the real skill that is Dean's culinary mind. Had the 5-course Grand Tasting and could only nitpick in saying that the frittata was not for me. Everything from the jumbo shrimp appetizer to the striped bass (so THAT'S what well-prepared fish tastes like) to the sorbet in the dessert (best taste of the evening) was incredible. They even brought out a little chicken satay sampler before our meal began that was great (I wanted more!).
If you are like me and for some reason have not yet tried Corbett's, go yesterday. It's that good.
