Mondy Lunch with Baked Potato?

by Chris Lindy » Mon Dec 27, 2010 11:10 am

Odd request, but I have some family coming in to help celebrate my birthday. My sister-in-law is pregnant and therefore going very bland food-wise. I'm trying to think of somewhere to take everyone for lunch, but baked potatoes and local restaurants are not something that seem to coincide off the top of my head.

Anyone have a suggestion where she can have a potato and the rest of us can still get a nice lunch? Springhurst area would be preferrable, but I'm open to all suggestions.

THANKS!

If you're looking for casual, all of the Jason's Deli's have BPs. I would also think someplace like Mitchell's at the Summit would be a good choice.

Jason's is a chain, right? I know McAllister's is and my family has one back home. They like to eat at places they can't back home, so that's what was making this a bit more difficult.

I'll keep Mitchell's in mind. Anywhere else?

Jason's and McAlister's are both chains.

Cheddar Box is great, but you'll have a wait if you go at noon

Does Cheddar Box do call-ahead? Also, my co-workers talk about what a chick place this is... will I be the only guy in the restaurant and get awkward looks for crashing the lady lunch party?

Why is she going bland while pregnant? Stomach issues or just scared of gaining weight?
