Scott,
How was the crowd for your demo at the Fair yesterday? Trying to get a better idea of what the attendance looks like so chefs/producers have enough "tastes" after the Slow Food Bluegrass demos next week...

Thanks,

Deb,

I was there on Thursday for Chef Francis from the Bristol and his crab cake demonstration (yummy, yummy, yummy) ... there was probably around 40-50 people standing in line for the samples. I think there were less people watching the demo, but as the samples were being passed out, people that were just passing by came and got in line. The stage is right by the first entrance in the South Wing, so there is lots and lots of traffic. The crab cakes recipe sheets were quickly gobbled up (kind of like the samples!)

Yes, Chef Francis did a wonderful job and the crab cakes were very good. The rain hit about 10 minutes before I went on, so there were quite a few people that came inside and watched the demo. If I had to guess, probably about 40-50. Again, samples and recipes gone quick....
