Frank's Steakhouse

by Bill Veneman » Sun Mar 11, 2007 6:04 pm

As I drove home today up Shelbyville Road, I notice a sign at the old Garrett's location saying Frank's Steakhouse Coming Soon.......Anybody know anything about this? Did a search, but not sure if what came up is what's coming.
If life's a Banquet, what's with all the Tofu?

Cheers!

WOW, I just drove home that way the other day and noticed a For Lease sign near the road. I worked briefly at that Garretts as a second job when I was saving up money to buy my house. At the time I was working at Applebees in the mall, and one of the running jokes there (Applebees) was to send people to the basement. So when I started working at Garretts and they tried to send me to the basement to get something -- I promptly let them know that I might be new to this place, but I wasn't new to serving. Then they showed me how to actually get the basement. I couldn't believe the building really had a basement. OH WELL!

Sounds like the one in Jeffersonville...

...since I heard the owners talking the other day on WHAS about a new location coming to the east end. Will be interesting to see how they fare (with their fare), there.

Could this be any relation to the Frank's Steakhouse in Jeffersonville?

I thought in an earlier thread (old forum?) that they were transforming that location into doctor's offices?

The old Garrett's on Lime Kiln Lane is going to be a doctors office, not the one on Shelbyville Road

If it is the Frank's that is in Jeff, not sure how they will hold there own there??? Question for anyone who has been to the Frank's in Jeff, whats with the dinner rolls there? They are grilled, smashed hamburger buns! Very odd. But the baked taters there are awesome!
