It’s going to be a small menu,” Bill Ellis explained. “It’s going to be regional flavors. We’re going to try to do a farmer-to-table concept with local produce and meats.”
The menu will feature Southern-style foods and may include local lamb, chicken, quail and other meats and vegetables, along with pastas and sandwiches. It is also likely to include fresh seafood, Donna Ellis said.
“They’ll be foods that people know and love, but we want to do them with a real high quality and flair,” Ellis said.
The restaurant’s 24-seat dining room will be reserved for fine dining, while a 24-capacity lounge will be an area where customers can order smaller plates, appetizers, even wood-fired pizza, Bill Ellis said. But the dining room may open before the lounge does, he added.

This looks promising, and the restored home is quite lovely. The fine dining options in Bardstown are rather limited so this should be a pleasant addition.
