We decided to go across the street to the Corner Door, been meaning to try it for sometime.
Very quaint and almost tranquil atmosphere, peace signs scattered throughout the bar / cocktail area, candles everywhere you looked, staff dressed in folksy clothing with beads, ( mind you I am a Dead Head, among other musical tastes ) and the feeling was really laid back. Felt like I was in the basement of an old friends house ( back in the day ), or maybe it was my house ?

There was a four piece band doing covers of The Allman Bros, C.S.N., Dylan, amongst other musicians of the same musical genres.
We sat at the bar and ordered drinks, did not see anything local on tap ( maybe David, Paula or Jeremy can correct me on that ) it looked like all the usual craft beers you see ( Stone, Bells, Sierra Nevada, Falls City, etc.. ), the bar had about 8 barstools and we were the only people sitting at the bar, maybe around 5 hightops were listening to the band.
The menu had about five appetizers to choose from queso, bourbon sausage, chicken tenders to name a few ranging from $3 to $5 dollars. We both ordered the "Zip" burger, around 6 ozs. of hamburger dressed ( kinda reminded me of Ollies Trolley in the size ) tasted good and only $3.75 no side included, we also ordered ribbon fries which were deep fried thinly sliced potatoes twisted to form a ribbon as a side item to share, added garlic salt for taste. There were some salads and other sandwiches on the menu in the $4 to $6 dollar range.
There are two other rooms towards the back of the building that were empty, maybe around 15 tables, don't know if they get a later crowd ?
