Preston Taco Tico gone

Sorry to see them close. I kinda like the place. Still have coupons to use, but the other two locations are too far away...

I noticed the one on Hurstbourne closed as well. We tried them once and were not impressed.

I believe that the place that closed on Hurstbourne that closed was Taco Bueno, like the one in Jeffersonville. Neither Taco Tico or Taco Bueno are outstanding, I just like them better than Taco Bell when I can't get to a real Taquería. Also, I like to say "taco".

Oops, your'e right. And, it was (for sure) a step up from Taco Bell.

We always liked Taco Tico but really it was probably more for old time sake than taste...there used to be one on Preston years ago...me and Hubby went there the night we met...Really not sad that Taco Bueno closed the couple of times we went the place messed up our orders also strange about the place the times we went the place was always full of J-town Police, not just eating but having shift meetings almost.

I seem to recall -someone- (not sure who) being all pumped up a year or two ago when Taco Bueno was setting up shop. Based on my limited experience with the joint when living out in OKC...good riddance.
