Denham rolls out summer 'gastropub' menu @ Browning's

Minor menu changes continue at Browning's and Park Place on Main as Chef Jay Denham takes over fully from Anoosh Shariat.

A press release just in announces some additions to Browning's menu, and quotes Denham thus: "We have kept some of Browning's signature items, but have added several items with a Southern twist. I am calling the new menu 'Southern Gastropub' to represent a place that celebrates great beer and food."

Fresh new appetizer and salad choices include the <b>Fried Green Tomato and Fried Pickle Plate</b>, $8; <b>Cheese Plate</b>, featuring Kenny’s Kentucky blue and chipotle colby cheeses and Capriole goat cheese, $7; and <b>Corn Cobb Salad</b>, $8.

The <b>Kentucky Ruben</b> (sic), featuring corned bison brisket, $10; and the <b>Pub Club</b> made with turkey, ham, bacon, Swiss cheese and chipotle aioli, $8.

New summer entrées include <b>strip steak</b> with mushroom sauce, $20; <b>Bourbon tri-tip</b> with Bourbon molasses sauce, $17; <b>pork chop</b> with house-made applesauce, $15; and <b>Blacksmith Porter BBQ ribs</b>, $14 half or $18 full.
