Many thanks to each and everyone of you for your patience during the first month that our store has been open in The Vogue Center - 3739 Lexington Road. It certainly has been a learning experience for us and each and every day we strive to make your shopping experience a better one! New merchandise is arriving weekly and the shelves are showing it! Please forward this email to any of your friends that may be interested in cooking classes. Many of the customers of Campbell's received their schedules, in the past, by mail only. If you speak to any of them, could you ask if we have their current email address and they have received the schedule. Printed schedules will be available in the store starting Saturday, Nov. 27.
The store policy for cooking classes is as follows -Payment for class must be made in advance - at time of registration. If you are unable to attend the class, you may send a friend. If not, cancellations will be accepted no later than 48 hours prior to the start time of the class. Upon canceling, you will be entitled to a full refund using the method of payment used during reservation. We're sorry but no exceptions can be made to this policy since, at this point, the chef has been confirmed and food purchased.
Gift certificates are available for classes as well as merchandise and make wonderful gifts!

This hands-on class is limited to 18 students so each will receive individual attention while decorating 4 different gingerbread cookies that are works of art: Large Santa with his Pack, Snowman, Large Nutcracker and a quick, but beautiful, Two Minute Snowflake. Some of the things you will learn are how to roll out and bake perfectly shaped cookies, several different cookie decorating techniques, including the use of royal icing, outlining and flooding cookies and the sanding technique. It’s so much fun to just graze through the selections as you enjoy a glass of wine, a cocktail and have conversation with friends. In this class we will show you how to create such a party! A turducken is a boneless chicken stuffed into a boneless duck stuffed into a boneless turkey with two different stuffings placed between the different poultries. Once cooked, it can be sliced giving you a gorgeous slice of each bird and stuffing (like a pinwheel). Chef John will teach us, step by step, how to make our own turducken. Thursday, December 9th • Jay Shreve • $45.00 • “No-Knead Artisan Breads” 6:30 – 9:00 pm That’s right, I said it - an authentic, craft-made Italian/French loaf produced without any complicated kneading or fermentation rigmarole! Come check out the baking technique that has sparked the interest of true bread aficionados in the New York City area. Jim Lahey, owner of Sullivan Street Bakery in Manhattan, has introduced a method of making loaves with a simple one-step mix and rise, using pre-heated Le Creuset enameled ware. The technique Chef Jay will be walking us through brings about the thick, chewy crust and beautiful inner crumb that foodies love and appreciate, but can never quite get!
