Hmmm . . . looks like the ingredients in the Havana Mojito are Key Lime, crushed mint, sugar. Not too far away from simple syrup and muddled mint. Not authentic, of course, but one year we made "juleps" with bruised chocolate mint and they were, we thought, much improved over the original.
