Did Q Doba on Bardstown road close?

by Jeremy J » Tue Nov 23, 2010 7:55 pm

I noticed last week that they looked like they were gutting the place, but I assumed it might just be new HVAC or something. Today I drove by and saw them painting over the Jason Noble/Jeff Meuller mural :(

What's going on over there?

"Qdoba Mexican Grill in Louisville, KY Don't forget- starting today, our Bardstown Rd store in the Highlands is closed for an EPIC remodel!! We will reopen on Friday at 10:30am!"

That's insulting. That mural was part of the neighborhood.

My thoughts exactly. It would be interesting to know the thinking behind that, if any.

They probably wanted to make it look more like an Ikea.

That's awful! I'm pretty sure Greg King painted part of that mural as well. Another part of the neighborhood gone.

So many kids hang out there, they'll probably paint a Miley Cyrus / Justin Bieber mural.
