Last night we had a fabulous meal. The grilled wahoo with fried spinach was awesome.
And the finishing touch was the pumpkin creme brulee.
Well done folks !!

A friend and I met there for lunch on Friday. He had the Black and Bleu Burger and I had one of the lunch specials - blackened shrimp over red beans and rice. We both left full and happy.

The girlfriend and I ate lunch at Baxter Station a couple of weeks ago, based mainly on positive reviews from this forum, and particularly SHane recommending their beer list. It was our first visit, and we really enjoyed it. While I have not been a huge fan of BBC beers, they had the Hell for Certain on draft, which I really enjoy. A trio of those makes any lunch better.

We started with some homemade chips that were a nice accompaniment to the beer. I had a spicy Cajun pasta dish with andouille that I really enjoyed. My girlfriend got a fried fish sandwich, that I thought was ok, but she seemed to enjoy. I was also very pleased with her choice of side, a quality mac and cheese.

I also enjoyed the feel of the place. We are making plans to try it again soon for dinner. Although here in Louisville, it is difficult for us to make quick return trips because there are so many great restaurants and many we have been meaning to try forever.

A friend of mine, Ginna Mooser makes the desserts there. She is a wonderful pastry chef. Her Mocha Dacquoise is my favorite.
"I dined at my favorite restaurant last night. It was like Heaven, only better. They let me in".
