The girlfriend and I ate lunch at Baxter Station a couple of weeks ago, based mainly on positive reviews from this forum, and particularly SHane recommending their beer list. It was our first visit, and we really enjoyed it. While I have not been a huge fan of BBC beers, they had the Hell for Certain on draft, which I really enjoy. A trio of those makes any lunch better.
We started with some homemade chips that were a nice accompaniment to the beer. I had a spicy Cajun pasta dish with andouille that I really enjoyed. My girlfriend got a fried fish sandwich, that I thought was ok, but she seemed to enjoy. I was also very pleased with her choice of side, a quality mac and cheese.
I also enjoyed the feel of the place. We are making plans to try it again soon for dinner. Although here in Louisville, it is difficult for us to make quick return trips because there are so many great restaurants and many we have been meaning to try forever.
