On behalf of Derby City Espresso & Bank Shot Billiards thanks to everyone who participated in the cobbler contest!

North End Cafe Cafe won in a squeaker with their Dutch Oven cobbler.

Thanks also to Ermines, Primo, The Bodega & Maya Cafe for participating!
Let's do it again sometime.

Congrats to everyone (cooks and tasters). Is there a list of what type of cobbler the other entries were?

I hope you throw another cobbler-off; I'd love to enter something! (given a wee bit more notice :))

next time the fire...

by Matthew Landan » Mon Aug 06, 2007 5:30 pm

I was handling the online end of the contest, my buddy Brad at the Bank Shot hosted the event.
He mentioned this morning he would like to try it again.
I was stuck playing the barrista at DCe and didn't even get to make it over there for a bite.
I will try to find out more details and post them here and also give a better (than 5 days) heads up for the next time we do it!
Thanks for your interest!
