Mozz... WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

by Jerry Zegart » Fri Nov 12, 2010 2:55 am

Thursday night we attended a private tasting at Mozz, a new Market Street Restaurant and new concept put together by the creative skills of another Louisville Casa Grisanti alumini. It's hard to believe how well Mozz executed in their "pre-show" performance to an overflow crowd. But then again, Casa Grisanti alumni can be found at many of Louisville's top resturants still working their magic.

It's all about talent, food, drink, execution and atmosphere...and Mozz has managed to put together so much talent in one place, with food and beverage way over the top, served in an atmosphere that is so eloquent, yet comfortable... Yeah I really liked it and so did everyone else who joined us for Thursday night's preview party. Their execution was flawless. Check out their full menu at: http://mozzlouisville.com/

Last week it was Wild Ginger (formerly Cafe Metro) and now Mozz. Yet another great reason for us to travel outside our 2 1/2 mile Norton Commons bubble. We'll be back!!! Looking forward to it!

Open now to the public.

That space felt perfect for their concept and last night was impressive. These guys have pulled togther one of the best staffs in town and the food and beverage are top notch. It is a lot of fun to sit at the Mozz bar and watch the antipasto chefs put your order together like at a sushi bar. I look forward to seeing it in motion again soon. I was told Monday will be opening night to the public.

I asked last night and they plan soft opening Friday night (TONIGHT)... Great time to check it out before the masses, but it wouldn't hurt to phone ahead just to make sure. These guys are perfectionist, and if there was even the slightest thing wrong, they would delay to get it right.

A few friends, my wife & myself stopped in for a few hours last night. We really liked what we saw.
