I was disqualified for a pesky misdemeanor from years ago. Seems unfair, and I cant help but believe that of all the cast members over the years that none of them had a misdemeanor on their records. Just saying. I want some gossip. Please. Bill, Shady Lane Cafe.

I thought about lying on the application form, but with twenty years of sobriety under my belt, the honesty thing kicked in....I agree with "Top Chef", or for that matter my favorite of all "Chopped" would be the best bet to apply for. I just hope none of us are ever on "Kitchen Nightmares". They get some real losers on Hells Kitchen and sometimes kick off the best for little or no reason. With that said, best of luck to all who applied. I hope someone we know made it on. Bill

Post Script...I know of two peeps who used to work for me who got a "call back" from this and I wish them only the best as they are both good people and won't be taking any un-called for BS from Mr. Ramsay.....Good luck you two! If they did, they couldn't tell. They would be contractually obligated to remain mum. They were very clear about NOT publishing any information for public dissemination about your audition or status thereof. Posting on facebook, blogs, or message boards would immediately disqualify you from participating.
