Aldi's holiday hams...

by Becky M » Thu Nov 04, 2010 1:33 pm

I was wanting to give this a try. I tried searching for the discussions on it but couldnt find them.

Is the "good" one the sliced or the huge regular ham?

The Appleton's spiral sliced ham from Aldi's has been a consistent hit at my house for several years. The last Honey Baked Ham I bought was 5 or 6 years ago and I was wholly unimpressed with it, despite the cost. Tried this spiral sliced ham from Aldi's the next year and haven't given Honey Baked a second thought since.

Try it. I think you'll like. But, remember -- Aldi's has a 100% money back guarantee if you're not satisfied.

See http://www.aldifoods.com/us/html/offers ... U_HTML.htm for their specials this week.

P.S.: Their 2010 "Holiday Catalog" apparently only works on the Internet Explorer browser, NOT in Chrome! BUT, it lists the "Appleton Farms Spiral Sliced Half Honey Ham -- Fully cooked. Pre-sliced. Includes honey glaze packet. 8-lb. avg. weight" for only $1.49 per pound.
